After a series of family tragedies struck in 2009, Danielle fell to her knees and pleaded with the Lord to reveal her God appointed purpose. She professed to work as unto the Lord for the rest of her days in whatever He would have her do, even if it meant cleaning toilets for His glory, she vowed to do it. “Your will, not mine”. It was then unexpectedly revealed that God was calling her into full time film ministry. Danielle embraced the calling and is a passionate creative ambassador and award winning filmmaker for Christ.
Danielle has had many creative opportunities throughout her life.
ACTING: Some of her theatrical credits include “The Pink Panther Strikes Again” (Margo), “Makin’ It” (Brook), The musical lead in “The Timid Dragon” (Princess), musical “Babes in Arms” (Jennifer Owen), “The Sound of Music” (Nun), Original musical “Tall Boys” (Margarita), “Grease” (After turning down the lead role of Sandy, Danielle played Pink Lady – Marty Maraschino), “Cry of the Banshee” (Maureen), “The Princess and the Pea”, “How Reading came back from Nowhere”, The Bridge movie (Vivian). She has also recently appeared in commercials for FOX tv.
MUSIC: Danielle has also been part of various vocal groups including, swing choir, performance choir, Acapella ensembles, Women’s Choir (Ball State), Church Choir, Praise and Worship Team. She placed 2nd in state vocal competitions in solo and duet categories several years in a row. Sang back-up for Legends act, “The Blues Brothers” during the grand reopening of the State Theater. Danielle danced swing and sang a duet with Ben Vereen (Roots) for the Grand reopening of the Morris Performing Arts Center. Danielle wrote and performed her original songs in the feature film, the Bridge. She also wrote original music for the feature film, Offbeat.
WRITING/DIRECTING: Raising the Bar” skit (Writer/Director), “Find it here” short ad film campaign (Writer/Director/Producer). Danielle wrote, produced and directed feature Faith based film; The Bridge. It won the Local Gem award and The Audience Choice award at the River Bend Film festival in 2013, and was viewed by a festival record high audience attendance in the history of the festival. The Bridge had a limited theatrical release with sold out viewings. Danielle wrote, produced and Directed Offbeat, her second faith filled feature film in 2015, which is currently in post-production. Family baseball movie, Northpaw will be Danielle’s third feature film as Writer/Director, currently in Pre-production and scheduled for principle photography in 2018 and released in Spring of 2019. Danielle has written several other screenplays that are in various stages of development. Quirky Romantic comedy, Hard Road to Happy, Christmas Comedy, Four-way Robbery, Action thriller, G Force, a faith infused sitcom, Room for Rent and more.
OTHER: Danielle is also a certified Ballroom Dance Instructor, artist, poet, singer, songwriter and teaching herself to play the ukulele. Danielle is passionate about Jesus, her family, friends and film ministry. Her heart is to shine the light of Christ into a dark world.
